Engineering Contracting Company (ECC Contracting) has successfully completed the Nad Al Sheba School Phase 2 project in Nad Al Sheba Fourth, Dubai, following the successful completion of Phase 1. The 35,681 m² educational campus was delivered within 12 months and handed over four days ahead of the contractual completion date.
Commissioned by Dubai Municipality under a Design & Build contract, the project was delivered by ECC Contracting with e.Construct/FNP serving as the consultant. ECC Contracting’s scope covered the design and build of the Phase 2 expansion of Nad Al Sheba School.
The campus comprises three connected buildings designed to accommodate approximately 2,500 students and 400 staff. Its facilities include 78 classrooms, 26 learning rooms, sports halls, swimming pools, a football pitch, science and technology laboratories, knowledge hubs, and children’s play areas, creating a comprehensive environment for learning, recreation, and student development.
The project was delivered alongside a fully operational neighbouring school, with construction activities carried out within restricted working hours. This required careful planning, close coordination, and disciplined execution throughout the programme to maintain progress while minimising disruption to ongoing school operations.
Key execution milestones were achieved early in the programme. Excavation and foundation works were completed within one month, followed by the completion of structural works and elevation cladding within five months. These milestones helped maintain momentum across the demanding construction schedule and supported the project’s early handover.
The successful completion of Nad Al Sheba School Phase 2 builds on ECC Contracting’s delivery of Phase 1 and reflects the ECC Contracting’s approach to managing complex educational projects through disciplined planning, coordinated execution, and consistent project delivery.
With its combination of academic, sporting, and recreational facilities, the completed campus adds a comprehensive educational facility to the Nad Al Sheba Fourth community while demonstrating ECC Contracting’s capability in delivering large-scale projects within challenging operational constraints.
