We are proudly participating in the CSR Majlis 2025 event at the University of Wollongong in Dubai, under the theme “The Role of Ethics in Contemporary Organisations.” The University’s CSR Majlis is an annual forum that brings together students, academics, and industry professionals to explore how organizations can embed ethics and social responsibility into business practice. Inspired by the traditional Emirati majlis of dialogue and reflection, the event features interactive talks and panel discussions on sustainability, stakeholder engagement, and ethical leadership—bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world impact. One of four industry partner panellists, Cathy Beasley, CSR Manager, ECC Group will deliver a talk titled “How CSR Can Move Beyond Branding to Create Real Ethical Impact,” exploring how meaningful corporate responsibility begins within the organisation itself — through ethical culture, wellbeing, and authentic engagement that ripples outward to communities and stakeholders. Her speech to first year students will also highlight ECC Group’s sustainability journey through DesertBoard and the ‘Graduate Pathways’ Program, demonstrating how ethics, innovation, and education can work together to create lasting impact. The session will conclude with a short Non-Sleep Deep Rest (NSDR) experience, inviting students to connect mindfulness with ethical awareness and purposeful action.
